TORONTO, CANADA, November 16, 2009. El Jueves, Spain entered into an agreement with Canada-based Comet Entertainment Inc., for the coproduction and Worldwide Distribution of El Jueves’ original animation concept, FUNBALL.

FUNBALL is a comedy series that reviews in 52 episodes of 2 minutes oddities and funny stories of the World Cup. The next World Cup will be held in South Africa in the summer of 2010.

The new partnership brings Comet Entertainment of Canada and Spanish El Jueves together into an animated series far more than just entertaining but in a funny way educating the viewers about soccer.

The involvement of Comet Entertainment, a prominent animation company with the highest artistic and creative values working hand- in- hand with the solid and ambitious Spanish editorial group will lead this series to a great success.

The production is already in advance presales stage and will be delivered in HD format.
