(www.cometentertainment.com), an animation production and content development group, announced today that it has entered into an agreement to co-produce the 3D Animated TV Series, "Tinguaro, The Sun Lizards".
The agreement calls for Spanish-based Lasal and India's Muv Studios to join Comet in co-producing 13 x 13' television episodes.
"Tinguaro, The Sun Lizards" is a TV series with a complementary Web site that will provide users access to interactive games and activities, along with online samples of the animated show.
"Tinguaro" is set in a futuristic world populated by peace-loving, island-dwelling lizards, and the malevolent locusts and scorpions who inhabit the mainland. Using special crystals, the lizards have learned to harness the clean, cheap energy of the sun. The locusts and scorpions are determined to conquer the noble lizards and seize control of the remarkable energy systems for their own evil purposes. One objective of the series is to convey values such as solidarity, equality, non-violence, communication, and respect for the environment to young viewers.
