Canadian-based COMET ENTERTAINMENT INC. (www.cometentertainment.com), an animation production, content development and distribution group, announced today that it has entered into a broadcast Deal with MTV LATIN AMERICA for its much acclaimed show "Wrappy, Sex Police".
Sex Police will have its premier in Animatosis block during MTV's "sex month". The show has different time slots throughout the region.
Comet's CEO Raquel Benitez speaks enthusiastically of the deal: "We are very excited to be working with MTV. Their projects are innovative, creative and our Show SEX POLICE, full of humour and action will be a perfect fit in their programming. I am sure their audience will love it, we will fill an empty space in the adult animation industry".
Wrappy, the most polemic condom on the Internet, has decided to create a team of special agents called SEX POLICE, to fight against the "lack of sexual responsibility" and to solve the most bizarre cases that happen in Temptation City.
The 13 half-hour episodes series is a coproduction between Comet Entertainment and Spain based Paneka Animaestudio. Started as funny flash animated cartoons for the internet, the site was running a traffic of 45,000 visits per day, at just one month from its opening. NGOs and Health organizations also became interested in using Wrappy for campaigns and as sexual education material oriented to young audiences.
With a successful track record in the distribution arena with other properties, Comet Entertainment Inc. is currently in production of the much anticipated HDTV prime time feature film "Santa Vs Claus".
