Canadian-based COMET ENTERTAINMENT INC., an animation production, content development group and distributor, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Italian-based Lanterna Magica, SL. for the distribution of Lanterna�s two animated feature films "Aida degli Alberi" and "Toto Sapore".
�Aida Degli Alberi�, In a world divided between two cities, the evil stone dragon Satam and his followers in the city of Petra wage war against the peaceful Tree People of Arborea. Beautiful Princess Aida, the daughter of Arborea's king, is taken prisoner by the Petrans and enslaved. As a servant, Aida meets and falls in love with handsome soldier Ramades. Ramades feels the same for Aida, but can their young love end the war between their two peoples?
"Toto Sapore" takes us to Naples, 1700. In the rowdy streets of the city the Neapolitans, though forced by circumstances to make the best of the frugal rations available, dream of elegant gourmet feasts: every day in the market square they impatiently await the arrival of Toto Sapore, the troubadour whose voice and lute satisfy this craving for good food. The young minstrel has a dream: to become a great cook and delight the demanding palates of his well-loved and ever-hungry public, however, his life does not seem to hold many surprises until the day he meets Punchinello and receives an inheritance from a strange lawyer, a dusty rattling sack of blackened old pans. The magic powers of the old pans allow them to cook superb dishes from any ingredient, and seemingly make Toto�s dream come true � at least in part � when he becomes the chef of the Bourbon court with Punchinello as his faithful and voracious assistant.
